So that means that Kim, Alice C, Meggie, Molly and Ulrike should contact me with their choice of photo and addresses please. What a lovely mix of long term readers and more recent readers that is!
Thank you so much to everyone who commented.
So, some thoughts.
I am very, very tired.
I am actually also feeling well - so don't worry.
I am just tired.
My trip away will give me the opportunity to sleep and rejuvenate.
I have also been giving some thought to this blog. I am away from it for a few weeks and have decided that it would be a very good idea not to take the laptop.
I also found out after my last post that this blog is more widely read than I realised and that some readers take an interest in what I am writing in a way that is not necessarily good for my family.
I cannot stop blogging. For a while though I may stop writing. Just until the dust of this year settles.
So I am thinking that I will load a photo every now and then. Expect a stream of them after I get back. (and a couple before I go I should think). I would love to see these photos start a new kind of dialogue between us. There is no need to comment unless something strikes you in a particular way.
And I will continue to give away photos. I love doing that.
It is fun and it gives me joy.
Love to all

Spring is coming, I can feel it, smell it and see it.
Spring represents new beginnings, an opportunity to grow and learn.
Have a great trip. Take all the time you need to rejuvenate, to rest your body and soul. Enjoy the day. You are always welcome in my house and would love to sit down and have a cup of tea, although this is probably not in our cards.
Goodbye Mary, create the journey you want, sail into ....
xox
Get lots of sleep x
Mary, I cannot express how thrilled & delighted I am to be a winner! I have loved your photography as much as your wonderful words, ever since I first 'met' you here on the wonderful world of Blogs.
Thankyou thankyou, for everything.XX
Hope your journey brings the joys you need, to sustain you on your next chapter.
Just posting photos in this public forum sounds wonderful, Mary. I enjoyed limiting myself to colours for a while while I figured out what I wanted to share and how I wanted to share it.
I look forward to seeing how your trip went.
May your journey be happy and safe, A.
This sounds very ridiculous coming from me, but I am envious of your trip.....I love Greece, and I know I will never get to go there with my family. Not any time soon.
But I get to see your pictures!
I look forward to hearing about the adventures. Take care. Sending you a large fat hug.
Have a nice rest Mary.
(that sounds so corny, but I don't know what else to say..)
Stupid people taking an interest but not in a health good way.
But what's that? WHAYHEYHAY! Is that me Kim? as in Kim at allconsuming? Have you got another reader called Kim who leaves obnoxious pious comments?
AWESOME if it's me.
When do you go?
I found that vacationing without blogging allowed me to savor my time: I was able to share later in pictures and be free in the moment.
I am glad for your personal good health and sorry for the unhealthy interest that has been generated. Do what is right for you & yours; there is great rest in that alone. ♥
have a triffic holiday :-)
I cannot wait to see your photos when you get back! You always make me feel as if I am right there, in the photo. The colors are so alive.
I was so sad to make the decision to change my blog. It was mostly preemptive, but I too have found some unheatlthy lurking going on that was not a benefit to our family and made me feel a bit muzzled.
xx

The blossom photo in this post, is that up at Red Bubble? Can you please load it there? xx
Lurking is a strange thing. I know at least two completely lovely benign interested lurkers and then there are the other sort. Not good.
Everyone needs time to be quiet!Rest my friend, Enjoy!
I am so sorry to read that you have people reading your words for reasons other than fine and true. Hugs to you and rest well.
Have a wonderful trip - and I hope you find it restful and rejuvenating. Looking forward to seeing lots of photos, with or without words!
Your photos alone allow for beautiful, reflective moments.
May I also second Stompergirl's request and add a request for the snowdrop. Put with your existing blossom on Red bubble makes a lovely grouping of welcome to spring cards.
Enjoy your break as we will enjoy your photos on return.
Thank you Mary. I am so thrilled!
Wishing you a wonderful, wonderful trip.
You sound wise to take a break. Take your time. I doubt anyone will go anywhere. Hope your rest is multiplied.
Enjoy your holiday.
lots of gentle hugs
Love to you, Mary.
I recently vacationed sans laptop and it was heavenly spending time with my family, reading books, and playing. I rethink blogging regularly, and then I come around again, catch up on posts, and feel like I'm visiting old friends. Hard to resist those visits.
Looking forward to seeing more of your beautiful photos.
XOXO
Have you left for warmer waters yet?
I just had the urge to WAVE.
*waves bye bye*
